Ensuring Minnesota Point will thrive for generations to come.

A community-led endeavor bringing together a diverse group of partners to ensure the ecological, cultural, and economic resilience of Minnesota Point.

Our vision is that Minnesota Point, a dynamic and fragile ecosystem and community, sustains its land, water, wildlife, infrastructure, and people for generations to come.

Building long-term resilience is possible.

Our success relies on a collaborative learning model developed through partnerships with the City of Duluth, the Army Corps of Engineers, and a community of experts, all dedicated to enhancing resilience on Minnesota Point.

There are easy ways you can help take care of the Point and contribute to resilience.

Here’s how:

  • When spending time on the beaches, take care to keep off the sand dunes to help preserve them.

  • Take your garbage, recycling, and pet waste with you after you enjoy your time on the Point and properly dispose of them.

  • Donate financially to our efforts to create a more resilient Minnesota Point.

“If we don’t come together when thinking about climate change, development, and other issues, we’re going to lose Minnesota Point entirely in the near future.”
